This Privacy Policy describes how MyBox ("we", "our" or "the App") collects, uses and protects users' personal information.

2.1 Data provided by the user
- Email address and display name at registration
- Names of houses, floors, rooms, boxes and objects created in the app
- Photos of objects voluntarily uploaded
- Notes and descriptions associated with objects
- Lending information (person's name and date)
2.2 Automatically collected data
- Registration date and time and last access
- Technical data necessary for app operation (e.g. authentication tokens)
3. Purpose of processing
Collected data is used exclusively to:
- Provide and maintain the MyBox service
- Authenticate users and protect their accounts
- Allow sharing of houses with other users, upon explicit request
- Improve app functionality
4. Data retention
Data is retained for the duration of the account. Users can request deletion of their account and all associated data at any time from the Account screen in the app.
5. Data sharing
Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties, except for:
- Technical services necessary for operation (Firebase/Google Cloud) for hosting and authentication
- Users with whom the user chooses to share a house
6. Security
We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and limited data access.
7. User rights
Users have the right to:
- Access their personal data
- Modify their data (name, email)
- Delete their account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent to processing
